With additional Ryanair flights from Manchester to Barcelona the 2014 Barcelona properties rental season is looking promising

Great news for Barcelona’s tourism sector and holiday apartment’s rental as Ryanair, Europe’s favourite low fares airline, adds a new route to its extensive network. The service from Manchester airport to Barcelona Girona started last month with a flight on March 11 using the Champions League fixture between Manchester City and Barcelona to briefly start services. The service will be launched fully on March 30, 2014 with a daily operation and is bound to be busy with spring and summer time coming up.

This new service can only help to boost Barcelona’s real estate market, and increase the number of short and long stay apartment rentals.  With additional Ryanair flights from Manchester to Barcelona the 2014 Barcelona properties rental season is looking promising. In an interview Ryanair’s Maria Macken said: “Ryanair is pleased to deliver 4 new European routes to/from Manchester to Barcelona, Bologna, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, as well as increased frequencies on 5 existing routes, which deliver more than 2.1m  passengers per annum.”

This increased accessibility of Barcelona from Great Britain (in this case the North) will be a positive force for Barcelona’s real estate market and apartment rental market.
